Designing golf courses that enhance the natural environment enabled Alan Rijks to win twice the Dutch National Environmental Prize for golf courses.

First Green Label in Europe

Our design of the Dutch Golf course Gaasterland became the first golf course in Europe with a Green Label issued by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture.

Plan for natural environment

Our golf course design includes various elements and requirements for the golf course that contribute to a better environment.

The design of a golf course can be combined with a plan for the natural environment.  When this plan for natural environment is taken into account by maintenance of the course, nature will develop in an optimal way.
